Serie A Integrity Tour concludes with Juventus
The 2017/18 Serie A Integrity Tour, conducted by Sportradar, drew to a close this week with a visit to Serie A champions Juventus in Turin.
This season’s work took in more than 1,500 people, including footballers, coaches and staff of Serie A clubs, with the tour having grown gradually year on year since its inception in 2014 thanks to the support of both the league and Istituto per il Credito Sportivo.
The integrity tour began life ahead of the 2014/15 season and was dedicated solely to educating youth players about the importance of integrity, although every edition since then has included players from both senior and youth teams.
Marcello Presilla, Sportradar Integrity Executive, said: “It’s a real source of pride to have completed another season spreading the message about the importance of integrity and combating match-fixing.
“Players and coaches across Italy have expressed their enthusiasm and interest for our work and we thank them for that as well as offering our gratitude to Serie A and the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo.”
